Start at the green form in the middle, then follow one thin black line outward and see which colors it crosses.
Kandinsky painted this canvas in 1913, the same year as Improvisation No. 30 (Cannons). Both belong to the Arthur Jerome Eddy Memorial Collection, named for the Chicago collector who was Kandinsky’s friend. That title names cannons, but this one names no object at all, only the green form near the center.
