Follow the long line of geese from the upper left as it bends down toward the sandbars, then find the small pavilion among the trees at lower left.
Wild geese coming down on a sandbar is another of the Eight Views of Xiao-Xiang. Tani Bunchō painted this leaf in 1788, in his mid-twenties. The Cleveland Museum of Art reads the inscriptions on the set as a sign that it was possibly ordered by Japanese Confucian scholars, newly prominent at the time, and Bunchō himself had grown up in a strongly Confucian family.
