Look up the many stories of the pagoda at the left, then past the tinted roofs to the small boat on the river and the bridge at the far right.
The visit ends at the Cloudy Cliff Monastery, among its halls and its tall pagoda. This is one of the views Shen Zhou painted in subtle colors within a set that is mostly ink alone, warming the walls and roofs while mist settles over the river and the hills beyond. The leaf carries his seal Qinan and a seal of the later collector Hou Shigong.
