Look at the strong pink of the bodies against the blue, and at how the black outlines run freely, sometimes beside the color rather than around it.

Three bathers crouch on red stones beside blue water in this color lithograph of 1913. It is printed in pink, blue, red and black on smooth calendered paper. MoMA calls lithography the print medium closest to drawing, and the black outlines here keep the loose feel of a drawn line.
