緑の通りの旅人を見つけ、木々の上の鳥の列をたどって、城とその上の歌へ進んでください。
広重は東海道の宿場を複数の連作にしました。1837～1842年頃の小ぶりなこの連作は「狂歌入り東海道」と呼ばれ、各景の空に滑稽な歌、狂歌が記されています。浜松では、広い編笠の旅人が荷馬を引き、駕籠を担いで大通りを進み、屋根の上に石垣の城がそびえます。
